Private by design: your files never leave your device
Most online tools upload your file to their server, process it there and send the result back — so for a while a copy of your contract, ID card or payslip sits on someone else’s computer.
MyRoutineTool works the other way round. When you open a tool, your browser loads the tool itself, and then does all the work right on your own phone or computer. Your file is never sent to us.

Your browser opens it straight from your device. Nothing is uploaded, not even for a second.
Your device does the work
Merging, compressing, converting and editing — even the AI tools — run on your own processor. AI models download once, then run locally.
You save the result
The finished file is created on your device and goes to your downloads. We never see it, so there is nothing for us to store, leak or delete.

A few tools only make sense online: looking up a domain’s DNS, WHOIS or SSL certificate, checking where a link redirects, validating a VAT number, or fetching YouTube tags and keyword ideas. Those send only the text you type — a domain, a link or a number — never a file, and each one says so on its page. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Why we built it
You know the feeling. A form wants your photo under 100 KB. A client needs three PDFs as one. You just want to turn a Word file into a PDF before a meeting. So you search, land on a site full of ads, upload a personal document to who-knows-where — and at the very last step you’re asked to sign up, wait in a queue or pay to remove a watermark.
We got tired of that, so we built the place we wished existed. Every tool does one job, does it well, and gets out of your way. None of the file tools upload your file: the work happens on your own device. And nothing is locked behind a paywall.

How MyRoutineTool began
MyRoutineTool grew out of years of document-heavy work: contracts to merge, scanned forms to convert, ID copies to resize, reports to compress before a deadline. Every time, the quickest online tool asked for the same thing first — upload your file to our server. Files full of personal and client details, sent off to a stranger’s computer just to finish a two-minute job.
So we set out to build the tools we wished existed: everything a student, a professional or a shop owner needs for everyday document, image and business work, in one place, running entirely inside the browser. Your files stay on your device from start to finish, there is no account to create, and every tool is free. If a tool could work better for you, tell us — we read every message.

How we keep the lights on
Running a site like this still costs money, so here’s exactly how we pay for it. A few carefully chosen brands sponsor a small slot in the strip on the right of the page — just a logo and a link, with no tracking pixels and no pop-ups. And some of you kindly chip in with a small tip when a tool saves you time. That’s it. We don’t sell your data, and we never will.
Your files are handled on your own device, inside your browser. The AI image tools (watermark and background removal, upscaling, colourising, text recognition) download their model once and then run on your own device too — your photos are never sent to us or to anyone else. The handful of tools that genuinely need the internet say so on their page. Every detail is in our Privacy Policy, written in plain English.
