What is a purchase order?
A document a buyer sends to a supplier to order goods or services at agreed prices. Once the supplier accepts it, it becomes a binding agreement, and the supplier’s invoice refers to the PO number.
What should a purchase order include?
The PO number and date, buyer and vendor details, the delivery address and date, items with quantities and prices, taxes, payment terms and an authorised signature.
Can I ship to another address?
Yes. “Different ship-to address” is on by default for purchase orders — enter the warehouse or site address.
