Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a quotation and an estimate?

A quotation is a fixed price offer, usually valid until a date; an estimate is an approximate price that can change. Choose the title you need — QUOTATION, ESTIMATE or your own.

How long should a quote be valid?

Commonly 15 to 30 days. Set the “Valid until” date, and add your terms, such as delivery time and payment schedule.

Can the customer accept the quote?

The document has an “Accepted by (signature & date)” line, so the customer can sign and return it.

Can I convert a quote to an invoice?

Yes — click “Convert to invoice” in the menu: the Invoice Generator opens with all items, the client and your details, and a new invoice number.

Is it really free, without a watermark?

Yes. Make as many documents as you like — no sign-up, no limits and no watermark on the PDF.

Where are my documents and clients stored?

Only in your browser on this device. Your business details, logo, clients, item catalogue and saved documents never reach a server. Use “Back up everything” in the menu to move them to another device.
