Frequently asked questions

What must an EU VAT invoice contain?

A sequential number, issue date, supplier and customer names and addresses, the supplier’s VAT number (and the customer’s for reverse charge or intra-Community supplies), the date of supply, a description and quantity of goods or services, net amounts per VAT rate, the VAT rate and amount, and the total.

When do I use reverse charge?

For most B2B services to a VAT-registered business in another EU country. Tick “Reverse charge”: VAT is not charged, both VAT numbers are shown and the required note is added in the invoice language.

Can I create an e-invoice?

Yes. “E-invoice XML (UBL / Peppol)” saves the invoice as UBL 2.1 following EN 16931 — the format used by Peppol and accepted by XRechnung portals in Germany and other e-invoicing systems.

Can customers pay by QR code?

Choose SEPA GiroCode and enter your IBAN: the QR code with the amount due and invoice number is printed on the invoice, and banking apps fill in the transfer.

Is it really free, without a watermark?

Yes. Make as many documents as you like — no sign-up, no limits and no watermark on the PDF.

Where are my documents and clients stored?

Only in your browser on this device. Your business details, logo, clients, item catalogue and saved documents never reach a server. Use “Back up everything” in the menu to move them to another device.
