Using MyRoutineTool
MyRoutineTool is free, for your personal projects and for your work alike. Use any tool as often as you like for anything lawful. There are no usage caps, and you don’t need an account. We just ask that you follow the few simple rules on this page.
Play fair
Most of this is common sense, but it’s worth saying clearly:
- Only work with files you own or have permission to use. For example, only remove a watermark from a photo that’s yours or that you’ve licensed.
- Don’t use the tools to break the law, infringe someone’s copyright or trademarks, or invade anyone’s privacy.
- Don’t try to disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the site in ways that harm it or the people using it.
You’re responsible for the files you work with and for making sure you have the right to use them.
Your account
Signing in is optional. It’s there so your pinned tools and settings can follow you between devices. If you do sign in with Google, please keep your account to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on it. If an account is used to abuse the site, we may suspend it.
What you make is yours
Your files, and everything you create with our tools, belong to you. We don’t claim any rights over them, and since most tools never upload your files, we usually never see them at all. The MyRoutineTool name, logo, design and code belong to us, so please don’t copy them or pass them off as your own.
Sponsors and donations
Sponsored listings appear in the strip on the right of the page. Brands choose an open slot and send a request; a listing goes live once it’s paid and runs for one month from that day. We review every listing and may decline or remove any that are misleading, unsafe or unlawful. If we ever take a paid listing down early for a reason that isn’t the sponsor’s fault, we’ll refund the unused part of the month. A sponsored listing doesn’t mean we endorse that product — please judge it as you would any other.
Donations are completely optional and always appreciated. They’re gifts that help keep the site running; they don’t buy extra features, and they’re handled by the payment service you choose.
The honest fine print
We test our tools carefully and fix problems quickly, but software isn’t perfect. MyRoutineTool is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we can’t promise that every tool will always work or give exactly the result you expect. Some tools depend on your browser’s features or on outside services that can change.
To the fullest extent the law allows, MyRoutineTool and the people behind it aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, that come from using the site. Your files are processed on your own device, so please keep a copy of anything that matters before you edit it. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Changes to the site and these terms
We’re always improving things, so tools may change, improve or occasionally be retired. We may update these terms too. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top, and if you keep using the site after that, you’re agreeing to the new version.
