Merge PDF

Join several PDFs — plus photos or scans — into a single file. Arrange whole documents or individual pages, and choose exactly which pages make the cut.

or drag & drop PDFs and images here

How to merge PDF files

  1. Select or drop your PDFs (and any images) — each file appears as a card with a preview.
  2. Drag the cards into order, type page ranges to include only some pages, or switch to Pages to arrange, rotate or delete single pages.
  3. Pick your options on the right — file name, page size, bookmarks, table of contents — and click Merge PDF.

About Merge PDF

Combine PDFs — and photos or scans as images — into one document in exactly the order you want. Arrange whole files as cards, type page ranges such as 1-3, 5 to include only some pages, or switch to the Pages view to move, rotate, duplicate and delete single pages, even mixing pages from different files. A large preview lets you check any page, and undo is always one click away.

On the right you choose the result: the file name, one page size for every page (A4, Letter and more), a bookmark for each file, and optionally a clickable table of contents, blank pages for double-sided printing and each file’s name in the footer. Everything happens in your browser, so contracts, statements and applications are never uploaded.

Good for

  • Putting together a job or visa application from separate documents and scans
  • Combining monthly statements or invoices into one file with a bookmark for each
  • Building a report from chapters, with a contents page and matching page sizes

Tip: Select several pages in the Pages view with Shift- or Ctrl-click, then drag them together or rotate them all at once.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which pages to merge?

Yes. Type page ranges on any file card (for example 1-3, 5, 8- or odd/even), or switch to the Pages view and delete, rotate, duplicate or reorder single pages before merging.

Can I reorder the files and pages?

Yes. Drag file cards in the Files view, or drag individual pages — even between different files — in the Pages view. Sorting by name, date or size and undo/redo are built in.

Can I merge images and PDFs together?

Yes. Add JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP images alongside your PDFs — each image becomes a page in the merged file.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes. Enter the password on the file and its pages are added. Protected PDFs are added as page images, so their text isn’t selectable in the merged file.

Does it add bookmarks or a table of contents?

One bookmark per file is added by default, and under More options you can add a clickable table of contents, blank pages for double-sided printing and each file’s name in the footer.

Do my files leave my computer?

No. Your browser reads and combines the PDFs itself, so nothing is sent to a server — worth knowing when you're merging contracts, bank statements or ID documents.

Is there a limit on files or pages?

The tool sets no limit, adds no watermark and needs no account. Very large merges depend on your device's memory; if a browser tab starts to struggle, merge in two rounds.

Why is the merged PDF so large?

A merged file is roughly the size of all the originals added together, plus any images you included. To make it smaller, run the result through Compress PDF.
