How to convert PowerPoint to PDF
- Select or drop one or more PowerPoint files (.pptx) — each card shows the deck and its number of slides.
- Choose full slides or a handout with 2, 4 or 6 slides a page, the quality, and whether to add searchable text and slide numbers.
- Click Convert to PDF and download — one PDF per presentation, or tick Combine for one.
About PowerPoint to PDF
Share or print a presentation as a PDF that anyone can open. Each slide is drawn with its background, shapes, colours, pictures, text and tables, and the PDF pages take the slide’s own shape — widescreen or standard.
Searchable text is added invisibly over every slide, so you can find and copy words in the PDF. Print handouts with 2, 4 or 6 slides per page and slide numbers, convert several decks at once or combine them — everything happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Good for
- Sending slides to people without PowerPoint
- Printing handouts for a talk or class
- Archiving a presentation as a PDF
Tip: Using unusual fonts? They may be swapped for similar ones — embed them in PowerPoint (File → Options → Save) for the closest match.
Frequently asked questions
Will the slides look like they do in PowerPoint?
Slide backgrounds, shapes, colours, pictures, text boxes and tables are drawn as on the slide. Animations and transitions don’t exist in a PDF, and some advanced effects (for example 3-D, SmartArt styles or unusual fonts) can look simpler.
Can I search and copy the text in the PDF?
Yes — with “Searchable text” on, the words of every slide are added invisibly exactly over the picture, so you can search, select and copy them.
Can I print handouts?
Yes. Choose 2, 4 or 6 slides per page on A4 or US Letter, with optional slide numbers — ideal for printing notes for an audience.
Which files are supported?
PowerPoint .pptx, .ppsx and .potx (PowerPoint 2007 and later). For an old .ppt file, open it in PowerPoint and save it as .pptx first.
Can I convert several presentations?
Yes. Each becomes its own PDF, or tick “Combine all presentations into one PDF”.
Do my presentations get uploaded?
No. The slides are drawn and the PDF is made in your browser, so your files stay on your device.
