About HTML to PDF
Turn HTML into a tidy, shareable PDF. Drop .html files or paste code — invoices, emails, reports or saved web pages — and the page is laid out with its CSS: colours, backgrounds, borders, tables, lists and images.
The PDF has real, selectable text, clickable links and bookmarks from headings, on A4, Letter or other paper with your margins. Wide pages shrink to fit, long pages continue over several sheets, and scripts are never run — everything happens in your browser.
Good for
- Saving an HTML invoice or receipt as a PDF
- Turning an HTML email or report into a document
- Printing a saved web page cleanly
Tip: To convert a website, save the page in your browser (Ctrl+S) and drop the .html file here.
Frequently asked questions
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. Text is written as real PDF text — you can select, copy and search it — and links stay clickable. Headings h1–h3 become bookmarks. Text in scripts the standard PDF fonts don’t cover (for example Hindi or Chinese) is placed as a sharp picture instead.
Can I convert a web page by its address?
Browsers don’t allow one site to download another site’s pages, so paste the page’s HTML instead — or save the page in your browser (Ctrl+S, “Webpage, complete”) and drop the .html file here.
Are CSS styles kept?
Yes — styles in style blocks and style attributes are applied: colours, backgrounds, borders, tables, lists and images. Fonts are matched to Helvetica, Times or Courier by default so lines break exactly as shown; untick “Use standard PDF fonts” to keep your fonts’ look.
What about wide pages?
“Shrink wide pages to fit” scales pages designed for wide screens down to the paper width, so nothing is cut off. Long pages continue on as many PDF pages as needed, breaking between lines.
Do scripts on the page run?
No. For your safety the HTML is shown in a sandbox where scripts can’t run, so the PDF shows the page as it looks without them.
Does my HTML leave my computer?
No. The page is turned into a PDF inside your browser, so your files and code stay on your device.
