How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Select or drop one or more spreadsheets — .xlsx, .xlsm, .xls, .ods or .csv.
  2. Choose which sheets, how to fit them (page width, one page per sheet, or actual size), paper, orientation, gridlines and a repeated header row.
  3. Click Convert to PDF and download — one PDF per file, or tick Combine for one.

About Excel to PDF

Turn spreadsheets into PDFs that are easy to share and print. Column widths, row heights, merged cells, cell colours and number formats come across, gridlines are optional, and the first row can repeat at the top of every page so long tables stay readable.

Fit all columns to the page width, fit each sheet on one page, or keep the actual size and let wide sheets continue on extra pages. Choose sheets, paper and orientation, add page numbers, convert many files or combine them — everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Good for

  • Sending a price list or invoice as a PDF
  • Printing a wide sheet that fits the page
  • Sharing reports that can’t be edited by mistake

Tip: For a long table, keep “Repeat the first row on every page” ticked so every page shows the column titles.

Frequently asked questions

Will my spreadsheet look the same?

Column widths, row heights, merged cells, cell colours, number formats (currency, dates, percentages) and alignment are kept. Text in the PDF is real and selectable. Fonts are replaced by a standard PDF font, so very tight layouts may shift slightly.

How are wide sheets handled?

Choose “Fit all columns on the page width” (default), “Fit each sheet on one page”, or “Actual size”, where columns that don’t fit continue on extra pages. Auto orientation turns pages sideways for wide sheets.

Can I repeat the header row?

Yes. “Repeat the first row on every page” keeps the column titles at the top of each page. Gridlines, the sheet name and page numbers are optional too.

Which sheets are converted?

All visible sheets by default, each starting on a new page. Choose the first sheet only, or the sheet that was open when the file was saved. Hidden sheets, rows and columns are left out.

Which files are supported?

Excel .xlsx, .xlsm and .xls, OpenDocument .ods, and .csv / .tsv. Convert many at once, and combine them into one PDF if you like.

Do my spreadsheets leave my computer?

No. The sheets are read and converted in your browser, so they are never uploaded.
