About EPUB to PDF

Turn EPUB e-books into PDFs you can print, annotate or read on any device. The book is laid out with its own stylesheets — headings, italics, centred text, quotes, tables and pictures — and written into the PDF as real text, so it stays searchable and selectable. Every chapter starts on a new page and the cover comes first.

Choose A4 or Letter for printing, or A5 and 6×9 in for a book-sized PDF, set the margins and text size, and add a contents page, chapter bookmarks and page numbers. EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 books without DRM are supported, several at a time. Nothing is uploaded.

Good for

  • Printing an e-book or a few chapters
  • Reading and annotating books in a PDF reader
  • Sharing DRM-free books, manuals and reports with people who don’t have an e-reader

Tip: Pick 6×9 in with “Larger” text for a PDF that reads comfortably on a tablet.

Frequently asked questions

Is the text in the PDF selectable?

Yes. The book is written into the PDF as real text, so you can search it, copy from it and have it read aloud. Only books in scripts the standard PDF fonts can’t show, such as Chinese or Hindi, are drawn as pictures page by page.

Does the PDF look like the e-book?

The book is laid out with its own stylesheets — headings, italics, centred text, block quotes, tables and pictures — on the page size you choose. Every chapter starts on a new page, and the cover comes first.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 or Letter for printing at home, A5 or 6×9 in for a book-like PDF to read on a tablet or have printed as a paperback. Use “Larger” text for comfortable reading on small screens.

Can I navigate the PDF?

Yes. Chapter headings become PDF bookmarks, an optional contents page lists the chapters, and page numbers are added at the bottom.

Can it convert DRM-protected books?

No. Books protected with DRM (for example many store-bought Kindle or Adobe-protected EPUBs) are encrypted and can’t be read. DRM-free EPUBs from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, publishers and tools like Calibre convert fine.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser — your books never leave your device.
