Frequently asked questions

Why does Google cut my title even though it has 60 characters?

Google limits titles by pixel width, not characters. Wide letters like W and M take more space than i or l, so 60 characters can be too long. The preview measures the real width.

Will Google show my description exactly?

Not always — Google often rewrites descriptions to match the search. A clear, relevant description is used more often.

Can I check many titles at once?

Yes — paste a list of titles (and descriptions) to see which ones are too long, then download the results as CSV.

How do I get star ratings in Google?

Add Review or Product structured data with a rating — try the Schema Markup Generator.

Is anything sent to your server?

Only when you import a live page: our server fetches that URL for you. Titles and descriptions you type stay in your browser.
