Frequently asked questions

How do I convert MP4 to MP3?

Open the MP4, pick the bitrate in Export (192 kbps is a good default), optionally select the part you want on the waveform and click Trim to selection, then click Extract audio.

Can I get the audio without quality loss?

Yes — tick “Copy the original audio track”: the AAC audio is saved as M4A exactly as it is in the video, in seconds.

Is there a size limit?

No upload limit — files are read directly from your disk. Very long or large videos (several GB) depend on your device’s memory.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes. Add as many files as you like; they are converted one after another with the same settings, each with its own download, plus a ZIP of all of them.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The audio is converted in your browser, so your audio never leaves your device. Some formats use FFmpeg (WebAssembly), which downloads once — about 32 MB — and is then cached.
