About WEBP to JPG
WebP is Google’s modern web format; JPG is the most widely used photo format. Converting gives you small files for photos and is accepted everywhere — websites, forms, email and every phone and computer.
Drop in one picture or hundreds and they are converted together with a live before / after preview that shows the new file size. Choose the quality, the colour for transparent areas, resize on the way, set the DPI and keep photo details — everything runs in your browser, so your images stay private.
Good for
- Uploading pictures to websites and forms that only accept JPG
- Sharing photos by email or chat
- Printing at a photo shop
Tip: A quality of 80–90 looks the same as the original for photos and makes much smaller files.
Frequently asked questions
Why won’t my WebP image open?
Some older programs, photo printers and websites don’t accept WebP. Converting to JPG makes the picture open everywhere.
Can I convert many WebP files at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like — they are all converted with the same settings, and you download them one by one or together as a ZIP.
Can I change the size or quality too?
Yes. Set the quality with the slider, and under “Resize and more” fit the pictures within a width and height, scale them by a percentage or set the DPI.
Can I convert to other formats?
Yes. Pick another format from the list — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF or ICO.
Is the conversion private?
Yes. Your browser converts the files itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Why do websites use WebP?
WebP files are usually smaller than JPG or PNG at similar quality, so pages load faster. Older apps and some editors still can't open them, which is when converting to JPG helps.
