About PNG to JPG
PNG is a lossless format that keeps transparency; JPG is the most widely used photo format. Converting gives you small files for photos and is accepted everywhere — websites, forms, email and every phone and computer.
Drop in one picture or hundreds and they are converted together with a live before / after preview that shows the new file size. Choose the quality, the colour for transparent areas, resize on the way, set the DPI and keep photo details — everything runs in your browser, so your images stay private.
Good for
- Uploading pictures to websites and forms that only accept JPG
- Sharing photos by email or chat
- Printing at a photo shop
Tip: A quality of 80–90 looks the same as the original for photos and makes much smaller files.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white by default. You can choose black or any other colour instead.
Can I convert many PNG files at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like — they are all converted with the same settings, and you download them one by one or together as a ZIP.
Can I change the size or quality too?
Yes. Set the quality with the slider, and under “Resize and more” fit the pictures within a width and height, scale them by a percentage or set the DPI.
Can I convert to other formats?
Yes. Pick another format from the list — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF or ICO.
Do my files stay on my device?
Yes. The PNGs are converted in your browser and never uploaded.
Will my PNG lose quality as a JPG?
JPG uses lossy compression, so very fine detail and sharp text can soften slightly. On photos it's hard to see; for screenshots and logos, raise the quality or keep the PNG.
