About AVIF to JPG
AVIF is the newest high-compression format; JPG is the most widely used photo format. Converting gives you small files for photos and is accepted everywhere — websites, forms, email and every phone and computer.
Drop in one picture or hundreds and they are converted together with a live before / after preview that shows the new file size. Choose the quality, the colour for transparent areas, resize on the way, set the DPI and keep photo details — everything runs in your browser, so your images stay private.
Good for
- Uploading pictures to websites and forms that only accept JPG
- Sharing photos by email or chat
- Printing at a photo shop
Tip: A quality of 80–90 looks the same as the original for photos and makes much smaller files.
Frequently asked questions
What is AVIF?
AVIF is a new image format with very good compression, but many programs, older phones and websites can’t open it yet. JPG works everywhere.
Can I convert many AVIF files at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like — they are all converted with the same settings, and you download them one by one or together as a ZIP.
Can I change the size or quality too?
Yes. Set the quality with the slider, and under “Resize and more” fit the pictures within a width and height, scale them by a percentage or set the DPI.
Can I convert to other formats?
Yes. Pick another format from the list — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF or ICO.
Is the conversion done on my device?
Yes. Your browser converts the AVIF files itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Why can't my app open AVIF files?
AVIF is a newer format. Modern browsers display it, but many photo viewers, editors and older phones don't support it yet — a JPG copy works everywhere.
