About PNG to SVG
Turn a pixel picture into a vector SVG that stays sharp at any size. The picture is traced into shapes of flat colour — ideal for logos, icons, stickers, cutting machines (Cricut, laser), embroidery and signatures.
Choose a preset for the type of picture, then fine-tune the number of colours, detail and smoothing, remove small specks and drop a white background. Compare the result with the original, check the number of shapes and file size, and download one SVG or many at once. Tracing runs in your browser.
Good for
- Turning a PNG logo into a scalable SVG
- Vectorising signatures and hand drawings
- Preparing designs for Cricut, laser cutting or vinyl
Tip: For logos, start with fewer colours — every extra colour adds shapes and file size.
Frequently asked questions
What works best?
Logos, icons, cartoons, signatures and line art with clear edges and few colours. Photos can be traced too, but the SVG becomes large and looks like a poster.
Can I make a one-colour SVG?
Yes. Choose “Black & white line art” for signatures and drawings, or “Silhouette in one colour” and pick the colour.
Is the background removed?
Transparent areas stay transparent. Tick “Remove the white background” to also drop a white background around the picture.
Is this real vectorisation?
Yes. The picture is traced into vector paths (it is not just a PNG inside an SVG), so it scales to any size and can be edited in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma.
Does my image leave my device?
No. The tracing happens in your browser, so your picture is never uploaded.
