Frequently asked questions
Is the UPI QR code free to use?
Yes. The QR simply contains your UPI ID; payments go straight from the payer’s app to your bank account, with no fees from us and no middleman.
Can I set a fixed amount?
Yes — enter an amount and the payer’s app fills it in. Leave it empty to let the payer type any amount, which is best for shop counters.
Which apps can scan it?
Every UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, CRED and all bank apps that support UPI.
Is it safe to share my UPI ID?
Yes — a UPI ID can only be used to send money to you. Never share your UPI PIN, and never scan a QR to receive money; QR codes are only for paying.
Can I edit an existing UPI QR code?
Yes. Upload a photo, screenshot or PDF that contains the code, scan it with your camera, or paste its text. The code is read in your browser and the form is filled in, so you can change the amount or details and download a new code.
Can I make a poster or table stand?
Choose Poster / standee in the Design section: add your shop or company name, a call to action, a footer note and your colour, then download it as PNG or PDF in A6, A5, A4, square sticker or card size, or print it directly.
Can I create many codes at once?
Yes. Open the Bulk from CSV tab, paste rows from Excel or Google Sheets or open a CSV file, and download a ZIP of PNG codes, a PDF with one poster per page, an A4 label sheet with 12 codes per page, or a CSV of the payloads. Empty cells take the values from the form.
Is my UPI ID uploaded?
No. The code is made in your browser. Your details are remembered only in this browser, so the form is filled in next time.
