QR Code Scanner

Read a QR code with your camera or from a screenshot, and see where a link goes before you open it.

How to scan a QR code online

  1. Click “Scan with camera” and point it at the QR code — or open, drop or paste an image, screenshot or PDF.
  2. Each code is read instantly, even several in one picture, and marked on the image.
  3. Use the result: open the link, copy the text or Wi-Fi password, save a contact or event — everything is kept in your history.

About QR Code Scanner

Read any QR code in your browser. Use your phone or laptop camera with a live viewfinder, switch cameras and turn on the light, or scan codes from photos, screenshots and PDF pages — even several codes in one picture.

The scanner explains what each code contains and offers the right action: open a link (with warnings for insecure or shortened links), copy a Wi-Fi password, save a contact or calendar event, call, text, email or open a map. Every scan is kept in your history and can be exported as CSV.

Good for

  • Scanning QR codes from screenshots on your computer
  • Getting Wi-Fi passwords from a QR code
  • Checking where a QR code link goes before opening it

Tip: Press Ctrl+V right after taking a screenshot to scan it instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I scan a QR code from a screenshot?

Yes — paste it with Ctrl+V, drop it on the page or open the file. Photos, screenshots and PDF pages all work, and several codes in one picture are found.

Is it safe to open QR links?

The scanner never opens anything by itself. It shows the full link first and warns about insecure (http) and shortened links so you can decide.

What kinds of QR codes does it understand?

Links, Wi-Fi networks (with the password to copy), contacts (vCard, MeCard), calendar events, email, phone, SMS, map locations, UPI payment codes and plain text.

Why does the camera not start?

Allow camera access when your browser asks. The camera needs a secure (https) page; if it still does not work, take a photo and open it instead.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser — camera images, photos and the codes never leave your device.
