About Barcode Generator

Create the barcode you need for labels, products, shipping, inventory or ID cards. Choose from 20 formats, type the content and see the barcode instantly — with a clear explanation if the content is not allowed for that format.

Adjust bar width, height, text position, size and font, quiet zone, colours and rotation, and download a crisp 300 DPI PNG, a vector SVG or a PDF. For many items, paste a list to get a ZIP of barcodes or an A4 sheet of labels ready to print.

Good for

  • Inventory and asset labels
  • Shipping and warehouse cartons
  • ID badges, tickets and library cards

Tip: Use Code 128 C for long numbers — it makes the shortest barcode.

Frequently asked questions

Which barcode type should I use?

Code 128 for most labels with letters and numbers, EAN-13/UPC for retail products, ITF-14 for shipping cartons, Code 39 for ID badges and older systems, Codabar for libraries and Pharmacode for medicine packaging.

Why is my content not accepted?

Each type has rules — e.g. EAN-13 needs 12 or 13 digits, Code 128 C needs an even number of digits, Code 39 only upper-case letters. The message shows the rule and an example.

Can I print labels?

Yes — paste many values in “Many barcodes” and download an A4 label sheet PDF with the number of columns and rows you choose, or a ZIP of images.

Can I make QR codes here?

This tool makes 1D barcodes. For QR codes use the QR Code Generator.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser — camera images, photos and the codes never leave your device.
