Frequently asked questions

How do I record my screen?

Choose Screen (or Screen + camera), tick the audio you want, press Start recording and pick the screen, window or tab to share. Press Stop (or Stop sharing) and download the video.

How do I record the sound of my computer or a video?

Tick Share system / tab audio. When recording a browser tab, tick “Also share tab audio” in the share dialog; on Windows you can share the whole system sound with the entire screen.

Is there a time limit or watermark?

No. The recording is encoded on your own device, so there is no limit apart from your memory, and no watermark is added.

Can I show my face while recording?

Yes — choose Screen + camera to place a round or rectangular webcam bubble in any corner, in four sizes.

What can I do with the recording?

Download it as MP4 or WebM, or open it directly in Trim video, Video compressor or Video to GIF.

Is it private?

Yes. Nothing is uploaded — the video is captured and encoded in your browser and goes straight to your downloads.
