Frequently asked questions

How do I create a Morse code audio file?

Type your text, set the speed (WPM), tone and volume, then click “Audio (WAV)”. The file plays on any phone or computer and can be used in videos and games.

Can I change how the code looks?

Yes — use dots and dashes (. -), middle dots (· −), bullets (• —) or the words dit and dah, with a slash, a vertical bar or three spaces between words.

Can it signal with light?

Yes — the lamp flashes while playing, “Full-screen light” turns the whole screen into a signal lamp, and “Flashlight” uses your phone’s torch (Chrome on Android).

Can I get an image of the code?

Yes — “Image (PNG)” draws the dots and dashes with each word labelled underneath, ready to print or share.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No — everything is generated in your browser.
