How to rotate or flip an image

  1. Select or drop your pictures — sideways phone photos are turned upright automatically.
  2. Turn left or right, 180°, mirror, or straighten with the angle slider. Tick “All pictures” to apply each change to every picture.
  3. Click Save and download — several pictures come as a ZIP.

About Rotate Flip

Turn pictures the right way round. Rotate by 90° or 180°, mirror left-to-right or upside down, and straighten tilted photos with a fine angle slider — the empty corners are cropped away automatically or filled with a colour.

Sideways phone photos are fixed as soon as they are opened. Change one picture or all of them at once, then save in the original format or as JPG, PNG or WebP. Nothing is uploaded.

Good for

  • Fixing sideways or upside-down phone photos
  • Straightening crooked horizons and scanned pages
  • Mirroring selfies and text for printing on fabric

Tip: Straighten by lining up something that should be level — a horizon, a table edge or a door frame.

Frequently asked questions

Why are my phone photos sideways?

Phones store a note saying which way up the photo is (EXIF orientation), and some programs ignore it. The pictures are turned upright from that note as soon as you open them, so saving them fixes them everywhere.

Can I straighten a tilted photo?

Yes. Move the Angle slider (in half-degree steps) until the horizon is level; the empty corners are cropped away, or filled with white, black or transparency.

Can I rotate many pictures at once?

Yes. Tick “All pictures” and every button applies to all of them; or turn each picture on its own.

Is quality lost?

Pictures are saved at high quality (95) and keep their photo details. For no compression at all, save as PNG.

Does rotating happen on my device?

Yes. Your browser rotates the pictures, so nothing is uploaded.

Can I flip a photo like a mirror?

Yes. Use the mirror buttons to flip a picture left-to-right or upside down — useful for selfies that come out reversed.
