  1. Select or drop your PNG, WebP or other images — as many as you like.
  2. Choose what to remove: transparent edges, plain-colour borders or both, with a tolerance, plus any padding to leave.
  3. Click Trim and download the tightly cropped images.

About Crop PNG

Logos, icons and cut-outs often come with wide transparent or white margins that make them hard to place. This tool finds the edges of the actual content and crops tightly around it — transparent pixels, a plain background colour, or both.

Leave exactly the padding you want, make the result square for icons, and process a whole folder at once. Transparency is kept in PNG and WebP. Nothing is uploaded.

Good for

  • Tidying logos and icons before using them on websites
  • Trimming product cut-outs and stickers
  • Removing white borders from scans and screenshots

Tip: Use a padding of 10–20 px for logos so they don’t touch the edge.

Frequently asked questions

What does trimming do?

It finds the smallest box around everything that isn’t empty — transparent pixels or a plain background colour — and crops the picture to it, so logos and cut-outs have no wasted margins.

Can it remove white borders too?

Yes. Choose “plain-colour edges” — the colour is taken from the corners, so white, black or any solid border is removed. Raise the tolerance for JPG noise or soft shadows.

Can I keep some space around?

Yes — set the padding in pixels, and tick “Make it square” for icons.

Is transparency kept?

Yes, when saving as PNG or WebP.

Are my PNGs uploaded?

No. Trimming happens in your browser, so your images stay on your device.

Can the result be square?

Yes. Tick “Make it square” and the trimmed image is centred on a square canvas — useful for icons and app images.
