About PDF Forms
Fill in a fillable PDF form in your browser — text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons and drop-downs — then add your signature and the date and save the completed PDF. Tick “Lock filled fields” to make the answers read-only.
Got a flat PDF with blank lines? Turn it into a real fillable form: Find fields adds fields on the lines and boxes automatically, or draw text, checkbox, radio, drop-down, date and signature fields yourself, with names, options and required flags. Export and import the answers as JSON. Nothing is uploaded.
Good for
- Application, registration and HR forms
- Making your own fillable forms from a Word or scanned PDF
- Filling the same form again from saved answers
Tip: Give radio buttons that belong together the same group name — only one of them can then be chosen.
Frequently asked questions
How do I fill in a PDF form?
Open the PDF — its fillable fields show on the page. Click a field and type, tick checkboxes and pick options from drop-downs and radio buttons, then save. You can also add your signature, the date, ticks or text anywhere on the page.
Can I make a PDF fillable?
Yes. Add text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, date fields and signature fields by dragging boxes onto the page. Each field gets a name, and you can set its default value, font size, options and whether it is required. The saved PDF works as a normal fillable form in Adobe Reader, browsers and other PDF apps.
What does Find fields do?
It looks for the places a form expects answers — blank underscores, lines to write on and empty boxes — and adds a text field or checkbox on each. Check the result, remove any you don’t want and rename the rest.
My PDF is a scan. Can I still fill it?
Yes. Use Find fields or add fields by hand, or simply place text, ticks and dates on the page with the Text, Check and Date tools.
Can I save and reuse my answers?
Yes. Export data saves all field values to a small JSON file; Import data fills the same form again from it — handy for forms you fill every month.
Can I lock the answers?
Yes. Tick “Lock filled fields” to flatten the form so the answers become part of the page and can no longer be changed. Leave it unticked to keep the form fillable.
Are my answers kept private?
Yes. The form and everything you type stay in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
