Frequently asked questions

How do I reverse a video?

Open it — Reverse is already switched on — trim to the part you want if needed, then click Reverse & save.

Is the sound reversed too?

Yes. To remove it, tick Remove the sound in the Audio tab.

How do I make a boomerang?

Tick Boomerang in the Adjust tab: the clip plays forward and then backward; add loops to repeat it.

Which formats are supported?

Open MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, M4V, 3GP, TS and — after a quick in-browser conversion — AVI, WMV, FLV and MPEG. Save as MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, TS, AVI, FLV, 3GP, WMV or OGV with H.264, HEVC, VP9 or AV1.

Can I do other edits too?

Yes — every video tool here has the full editor: trim and cut, crop, rotate, resize for social media, speed, reverse, loop, filters, fades, text, logo, volume and export settings, with undo.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The video is reversed in your browser, using your device's built-in video encoder (WebCodecs) where available, so the video never leaves your device and there's no upload wait.
