How to resize a signature for an online form
- Sign on plain white paper, take a photo or scan it, and select or drop the picture.
- The signature is trimmed and the paper turned white (or transparent). Pick the form — bank exams, SSC, UPSC, Railway, PAN — or enter your own size and KB range.
- Click Make signature and download the JPG or PNG, ready to upload.
About Resize Signature
Exam, bank and government forms are strict about signatures: an exact size such as 140 × 60 pixels or 4 × 2 cm, a file between 10 and 20 KB, dark ink on a white background. Take a photo of your signature on white paper and the tool does the rest.
It trims the picture to the signature, turns grey paper and shadows pure white (or transparent), makes the ink crisp black or blue, centres it at the form’s size and saves it within the KB range. Presets cover bank exams, SSC, UPSC, Railway and PAN; any other size works too. Nothing is uploaded.
Good for
- Signatures for SSC, IBPS, SBI, UPSC and Railway applications
- Transparent signatures for PDFs and documents
- Cleaning up a phone photo of a signature
Tip: Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper and photograph it in daylight, without shadows — the result is the cleanest.
Frequently asked questions
What size should my signature be?
It depends on the form. Bank exams (IBPS, SBI) commonly ask for 140 × 60 pixels and 10–20 KB, SSC for 4 × 2 cm and 10–20 KB, and UPSC for at least 350 × 350 pixels. The presets use these values — always check the current notice and use Custom size if it differs.
How do I get a clean white background?
Choose “Pure white”. Grey paper, shadows and uneven light are turned white while the ink stays dark. Move the threshold slider if shadows remain or thin strokes fade.
Can I make the background transparent?
Yes. Choose “Transparent” to get a PNG you can place on documents and PDFs.
Can I change the ink to black or blue?
Yes — pick Black or Blue under Ink colour. Many forms ask for a signature in black or blue ink.
My signature is too small in KB — what then?
Set a minimum KB in Custom size. The file is brought up to the range without changing how the signature looks.
Does my signature leave my device?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your signature is never uploaded.
