About PDF to PNG
Export PDF pages as PNG images — lossless, so text, lines and diagrams stay perfectly sharp. Pick exactly the pages you need, rotate them, and choose anything from 72 DPI for screens to 600 DPI for print, or an exact width in pixels.
Keep empty areas transparent for logos, signatures and stamps, turn pages grayscale or black and white, extract only the pictures inside the PDF, or join all pages into one long image. Convert several PDFs at once and download everything as a ZIP — all in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Good for
- Putting document pages into slides or a website
- Cutting out a signature or stamp with a transparent background
- Saving diagrams and charts without blur
Tip: PNG files of photo-heavy pages can be large — switch to JPG or WebP in the options for those.
Frequently asked questions
Why choose PNG instead of JPG?
PNG is lossless: text, lines and sharp edges stay perfectly crisp, which makes it ideal for documents, diagrams and screenshots. JPG makes smaller files but can blur fine detail. You can still switch to JPG or WebP in the options.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes. Under More options, tick “Transparent background” — areas of the page with nothing on them stay see-through, which is handy for logos, signatures and stamps.
What resolution should I choose?
150 DPI is sharp on screens. Choose 300 DPI for printing, 600 DPI for very fine detail, or set an exact width in pixels.
Can I choose which pages to convert?
Yes. Type page ranges such as 1-3, 7 on a file card, or switch to the Pages view to pick, rotate or remove single pages.
Can I extract the images inside a PDF?
Yes. Choose “Only the pictures inside the PDF” to save the embedded photos and graphics at their original size, as lossless PNG.
Can I download every page at once?
Yes. Each page becomes its own PNG; download them one by one or all together as a ZIP. Several PDFs can be converted in one go.
Does my PDF stay on my device?
Yes. Your browser draws each page into a PNG itself, so nothing is sent to a server.
Why are the PNG files bigger than JPGs?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, which is ideal for text and line art but makes photo-heavy pages large. For scans and photos, PDF to JPG gives much smaller files.
