Frequently asked questions
What is my user agent?
It is shown at the top of the page with everything it says about your browser, system and device — plus screen, language and time zone details.
Why does it say Windows 10 when I use Windows 11?
Chrome and Edge freeze the user agent at “Windows NT 10.0”. Client hints, shown next to it, report the real version — 13 or higher means Windows 11.
Can it detect bots and AI crawlers?
Yes — search engines (Googlebot, Bingbot), AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, CCBot), social previews, SEO tools, monitors and HTTP libraries like curl and Python requests.
Can I parse a server log?
Yes — paste many user agents, one per line, to get a table with browser and system shares and a CSV download.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript in your browser — nothing you paste or open is sent to a server, so it is safe for API responses, tokens, configs and customer data. It also works offline once the page has loaded.
