About Save the Date Maker

Announce your date with a photo save the date: an arch photo frame, minimal or floral designs, and sizes for a 4 × 6 in postcard, A6, or Instagram and WhatsApp. Drag the photo to frame it just right and adjust brightness or make it black and white.

Add an “Add to calendar” QR code, or download a calendar file to send with your e-card, so guests have the date in their phone before the invitation arrives.

Good for

  • Wedding save the dates
  • Photo e-cards for Instagram and WhatsApp
  • Postcards to mail

Tip: Use the arch photo frame for the classic look — double-click the frame to swap the photo.

Frequently asked questions

When should save the dates go out?

Usually six to eight months before the wedding, or up to a year ahead for a destination wedding, followed by the full invitation about two months before.

Can guests add the date to their calendar?

Yes. Add the “Add to calendar” QR code, which opens Google Calendar with your date, time and venue — or download a calendar file (.ics) to send along with an e-card.

Can I move things around and use my own photos?

Yes — every element can be dragged, resized, rotated, recoloured, locked, hidden or put in front or behind, with snapping guides. Add photos with round, arch or heart frames, and use undo, redo and multiple pages.

How do I print my card?

Download the print PDF (300 dpi) for a print shop — choose the version with bleed and crop marks if they ask for it. To print at home, choose the A4 or US Letter sheet: it fits as many cards as possible with cut marks. Print at 100% (actual size) on card stock.

Can I send it on WhatsApp?

Yes. Choose Download → Share on a phone to send it straight to WhatsApp or Instagram, or download the JPG made for WhatsApp. Digital sizes such as 1080 × 1920 (status) and 1080 × 1350 are in the size list too.

Is it free and private?

Yes — free, with no sign-up and no limits. It runs in your browser, so what you enter is not uploaded or stored.
