How to Convert iPhone HEIC Photos to JPG
iPhones save photos as HEIC to save space, but many upload forms, older Windows apps and websites reject HEIC files. Converting to JPG fixes that.
iPhones save photos as HEIC to use less space, but Windows, many websites and Android phones can't open it — JPG is the safe choice for sharing.
Step by step
- Open HEIC to JPG and select or drop your HEIC photo.
- Preview the converted image.
- Download the JPG.
Stop your iPhone creating HEIC files
On the iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose “Most Compatible”. New photos will be saved as JPG. Photos you already have stay HEIC, so convert those here.
Converting a whole camera roll
Add as many HEIC files as you like. They are all converted with the same settings, and you can download them one by one or together as a ZIP.
Size, quality and photo details
Set the quality with the slider, and under “Resize and more” fit the pictures within a width and height, scale them or set the DPI. Photos are turned upright, and you can keep details such as the camera and date in the JPG.
