Frequently asked questions

Can it use the date the photo was taken?

Yes — the date taken is read from the photo’s camera data (EXIF). In a batch, each photo gets its own date. Without it, the file date is used.

How do I get the old camera date look?

Choose Retro camera and the ’26 10 22 format — orange glowing digits in the corner, like a 90s film camera.

Can I add a name or place too?

Yes — add a name, caption or place in up to two lines above or below the date, and drag it anywhere.

Can I edit many photos at once?

Yes — add several photos and the same settings apply to all of them; download each one or all of them as a ZIP.

Which formats can I use?

Open JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC (iPhone), AVIF, BMP, TIFF and more. Save as JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF with your choice of quality and size; camera information (EXIF) can be kept.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Every effect runs in your browser on your own device — your photos are never uploaded, and the result is rendered at full resolution when you download.
