Frequently asked questions

Can I type city names?

Yes — cities (Delhi, New York, Dubai), countries for single-zone places (India, Japan), abbreviations (IST, PST, CET, GMT) and IANA names (Asia/Kolkata) all work.

Is daylight saving time handled?

Yes. The offset is worked out for the exact date you pick, so a meeting in March or November shows the right time even when clocks change.

How do I find a meeting time?

Look at the meeting planner: every hour of your day is shown in each zone, working hours are green, night is grey, and hours that suit everyone are marked.

What does “+1 day” mean?

In that zone it is already the next calendar day (or still the previous day for −1).

Can I use a 12-hour clock?

Yes — tick “12-hour clock” for AM / PM times.
