Where do the exchange rates come from?
Daily mid-market reference rates from the free fawazahmed0 currency API, with open.er-api.com as a backup. The date of the rates is shown under the result.
Why does my bank give a different rate?
Banks, cards and exchange counters add a markup of about 1–3 % (sometimes more) to the mid-market rate. Set the markup slider to see the amount you would really receive.
Can I see the rate history?
Yes — choose 30 days, 90 days or 1 year to draw the trend, with the change, the low and the high.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The last rates are kept on your device, so conversions keep working without a connection (marked as a saved copy).
Can I convert to several currencies at once?
Yes — list currency codes in “Also show in” and the amount is shown in each of them.
Is crypto supported?
Yes — Bitcoin, Ether, Tether, Solana, XRP and other major coins, plus gold and silver per troy ounce.
