Frequently asked questions
What do the five cron fields mean?
Minute (0–59), hour (0–23), day of the month (1–31), month (1–12 or JAN–DEC) and day of the week (0–6 or SUN–SAT, Sunday = 0 or 7). An asterisk means every value.
How do I run a job every 15 minutes on weekdays?
Use */15 9-17 * * 1-5 — every 15 minutes from 9:00 to 17:45, Monday to Friday. Click the preset to load it and check the next runs.
Why does my job run at the wrong time?
Cron uses the server’s time zone (GitHub Actions always uses UTC). Pick the time zone above the next runs to see exactly when it fires.
What about AWS, Quartz and systemd?
They use other formats — AWS and Quartz need ? in one of the day fields and start weekdays at 1. The tool converts your expression to each format automatically.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript in your browser — nothing you paste or open is sent to a server, so it is safe for API responses, tokens, configs and customer data. It also works offline once the page has loaded.
